Orange Label Borgo Condiment is a fragrant smooth-tasting condiment, obtained from red and white grapes grown in the Emilia-Romagna region. Once acidified, the grape must is then aged at length in oak barrels. The alter ego of the more famous Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, our Condiment is an exceptional product in its own right. It’s made with grape must from our region, to which a small but varying percentage of aged wine vinegar is added to obtain the different varieties of dressing with ageing. Orange Label Condiment holds the flavours of the oak casks in which it has aged, the resultant blend of sour and sweet giving it a pleasingly smooth taste. The fragrance is still slightly pungent and fruity.
