Description |
Pappardelle is a traditional egg pasta from Toscany. Its name derives from the Italian verb 'pappare', meaning 'to gobble up', which reflects both the delicious nature of the pasta, as well as the less-than dignified manner in which it is consumed! The method of preparation is rolling out sheets of pasta dough and cutting them into thin ribbons. In order to be called pappardelle, our pasta ribbons have to have a particular width of 2 cm wide. Tagliatelle is made from simple ingredients: soft wheat flour, semolina, fresh eggs and salt. Our pasta is more yellow in color because in our recipes we like to make make the pasta richer. |
